Our Origin Story
We have long heard marketers say that they know they need to be data-driven, improve their understanding of the customer, and leverage their Big Data assets. But even after decades in the industry, and after having worked with hundreds of organizations, very few will tell you that they have been able to accomplish this or even get started. They often don't know where to start and lack the internal skill sets to make it happen.
We have helped a wide array of organizations from multi-national technology and data management firms, to sustainability start-ups and multi-channel retailers, by turning their disparate data assets into highly actionable data frameworks that power profitable, insights-driven, and consented communication programs. Our Founder
Marc Shull founded Marketing IQ in 2009 to take on the the big data challenges that others said couldn't be done or they couldn't figure out. After years of working with businesses like Intel, Domino's, eBay, Visa, Lands' End, Walmart, Party City, New York Knicks & Rangers, he realized a new approach was needed. One where organizations put data first, and treated it like a valuable asset.
Marc Shull has spent over 25 years at the forefront of data innovation, activation, privacy compliance, and most recently sustainability and traceability compliance. His work has directly impacted how hundreds of global businesses use data today.
After decades in Chicago, Illinois he now resides in Boulder, Colorado where he enjoys hiking, skiing, and competitive fencing. He has a bachelors degree In Business Administration from Ohio State University and a MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
